Bo Knows... But do we Know Bo? - Plus.. Ryder Cup Uni's???

Early this week on Twitter... (PGA TOUR pro) Bo Van Pelt said he read that every hour... Walmart does 47 million dollars in sales.  47 million!!!  Now, I didn't research it.. but let's say he's right.
Van Pelt is #30
Ironically, Bo Van Pelt is 30th in the Fed Ex Cup points race.. and got the last spot in the Tour Championship this week at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta.  In the "Playoffs Handbook" I received... Van Pelt needs about 47 million scenarios to play out so he can win the Fed Ex Cup... which is probably ok since he hasn't won a tournament this year anyway.
But, here's my question?  If I gave you 1 hour and 47 million dollars for getting this right... could you name the 29 other players in the Tour Championship?  I think I know the answer.
This week.. there's no Tiger.  Sooo... the PGA TOUR- with its television partners - has a big opportunity... and maybe an obligation.
Promote the pro's... sell us on the names...  show em' off... make em' bigger than life.  Do something to make sure people know everyone in the field not named Phil.
Hey, I'm not saying to make it an infomercial over a tournament.... but  then again.... its not a bad idea.

USA... USA.... USA?????
* One other thing.... have you seen these uniforms the United States will wear for the upcoming Ryder Cup?  I give up... I can't figure out where we're going with this.  It sure isn't traditional... which is fine by me.  But how about we at least keep the red, white and blue?  I feel like our team will be flying over on the concord and headed straight for a Polo Match, followed by three hours in a "reading room" with cigars and small glasses of wine. Ascot anyone?

Really.... can you imagine if Boo Weekly or Jason Gore had made the team?  Ryan Moore - sure.  Davis Love III - ok.  See the belt?  Imagine Phil Mickelson in that... or Tiger Woods.  Maybe the best thing that could happen is a bad rain storm in Wales that requires rain gear all week.  Then again... I haven't seen those pictures yet!

One other thing... I really appreciate the support for this blog.  The results are impressive... and I appreciate you following it.. and spreading the word.  Comments are always welcome - let me know what you'd like me to talk about.  Take care!
